New Hunter Pet Looks in Patch 12.0.5

There are three new tameable pet looks in Patch 12.0.5.

Two of these (the void-touched ones) were flagged tameable right before release, which means it's possible there are more last-minute tames we haven't identified yet.

Tameable new models

Family: Tallstriders

Model: Armoured Hawkstriders

Our first tameable armoured hawkstrider! This void-tinged avian appears during the 'Tranquil Repose' Void Strike event and patrols up and down the area. This event only occurs when Void Assaults are set in Eversong Woods, which is every second week. Void Strike locations seem to cycle randomly, so keep completing them until this one appears.

Model: Snapdragons

You have a chance of summoning this snapdragon while running the Daggerspine Point Ritual Site instance in Eversong Woods. This instance is only available every second week (check for the purple ritual site mark on the zone map) and can be soloed. Inside the instance you can find occasional piles of Washed Up Kelp. Interacting with these has a chance of spawning a Void-Touched Snapdragon (which can also drop a mount of the same name).

Void-Touched

Family: Warp Stalkers

Model: Wiry Warp Stalkers

This warp stalker appears during several Void Assaults in Zul'Aman and Eversong Woods, if Hal'hadar ethereals are present. Void Assaults switch between the two zones weekly. A good source in ZA is the Void Incursion event that occurs at Speaker's Rest when the zone's Void Assaults tally reaches 100%. During this event, the Hal'hadar Leystalkers are stealthed but easily detected by hunters. An event in Eversong where they occur is the 'Cryptic Operations' Void Strike in the crypts at the southern end of the Zeb'Nowa ruins (in the far south-east of the zone, south-west of the entrance to Zul'Aman). This strike appears to be less frequent than most so you may have to clear a number of them before it pops, but when it does be quick to tame one as other players engaging with the event will probably kill them quickly.
